I have a new niece!!!!

I don't have too much time to write because I have a bunch of homework I need to get done. However, I wanted to express my COMPLETE EXCITEMENT for my adorable new niece, Rachel Reva Moss! Poor Michelle was a week overdue, and so she ended up being induced.... I think. All I know is that I called my brother yesterday morning to see if she had come yet, but she hadn't. Michelle had been in labor for a few hours when I'd called, but nothing yet. I continued to call my dad during the course of the dad to see if there were any updates, but I didn't get a phone call from Mike until about 10:30 last night. I was sooo overjoyed to get that phone call!!! I've constantly been looking at the pics he put up last night because I can't get enough of how beautiful she is! Oh my gosh I'm so excited to see more pictures and videos! Alright, homework calls!

Are you KIDDING ME?? The week just started!!!

Ok, I've only been to my first three classes on Monday and I'm already stressing out. I have to start reviewing for my gigantically important test in Exceptional Students where I have to get AT LEAST an 85% on the test because its stuff we as teachers have to do. Its on the law of IDEA (I'm so stressed right now I can't even remember what that stands for but it is law for students with disabilities in the public education system) and all the laws it includes. That test isn't until next Wednesday, but I'm still stressing out about it.

I have three assignments due in my Math 205 class on Friday and then we have a test for that class that opens on Friday and closes on Tuesday.

Fortunately, clogging isn't that bad. I'm just praying that Gary (Brother Larsen) doesn't throw some kind of hard dance at us right now.

Alright, I need to get my New Testament journal done before class starts in an hourish. Ugh...

*sigh*

Once again, I'm feeling Disney withdrawals. I am missing Mickey and Minnie so much.

I brought back so much stuff from Walt Disney World because I wasn't sure if I was ever going to get to go back again, but honestly, I am missing it so much that I know I have to go back sometime. Half the stuff that I loved while I was there isn't going to be there anymore, which is why I took SO many pictures and videos. Heck, most of my shows are going to be gone. Since the Year of A Million Dreams is over now, the Dream Along With Mickey show won't be going anymore. On my last day in the Magic Kingdom, I was watching the Dreams Come True parade and Mickey got moved back to the end of the parade rather than at the beginning like I'd seen him in during the other times I watched the parade. So my favorite float is no longer there.

I've also been informed that the Pirate Training in the Magic Kingdom isn't going to be put on anymore. If its because all the movies have come out already, that doesn't make any sense, unless they take away the Jedi Academy from Hollywood Studios too. So taking away Dream Along With Mickey, the parade with Mickey at the beginning, and Jack's Pirate Training is taking away all my favorite performances in the Magic Kingdom. Actually, unless they take away Storytime With Belle, that would be a lie. My 'favorites' day consisted of visiting Mickey and Minnie and the princesses in Toontown, watching Storytime With Belle, Dream Along With Mickey, Jack's Pirate Training, and the Dreams Come True Parade. Of course, they are probably doing things that are just as fun with the "What Will You Celebrate?" theme, but I was in the parks so much that I basically lived there.

Well, at least I took a piece of Disney home with me. I have over 2300 pictures of my experience there, so a lot of my memories have been preserved. Now I just have to find time to scrapbook everything! That will probably have to wait until I get home this Fall after I complete my next two semesters. Ack- that reminds me, I need to do a little homework before I go to bed.

Alright, let's see how this goes

I didn't watch President Obama's swearing-in as President this morning, but I read his address (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28751183/?GT1=43001) after he was sworn in to the office. It sounded good, but I just can't seem to shake off my hesitancy of trusting him. I mean, yeah, he seems like a very good man and he's got good ideas for our country, but my question is- can he actually do it without sending our country down the tubes? Of course, I'd rather have him for my president than Hillary Clinton, but still. This is going to take some getting used to. I don't know exactly why this is so hard for me to wrap my head around now. Maybe its because he's so young for a president. Its just difficult for me to imagine having someone with so little experience behind him as the leader of my country. I'm willing to give him a chance, though. Here's to a hopeful four years with our new President!

A bit of fun in Rexburg!

Alright, its Sunday night, so I've got a little time to write a few things about what I've done since I got back to school. The Friday and Saturday of the first few days of school, there was a show called Comedy Improv done by The Society with Kirby Heyborne, Corbin Allred, Lincoln Hoppe, and Kelly Lohman. I'd seen Comedy Improv once before a couple years ago, so I bought up a couple tickets as soon as I could for the last show they did because I wanted to meet them all again. It was so funny! It was great seeing those guys again. I got pics with Lincoln, Corbin, Kirby, and Corbin and Kirby together. :)
Anyway, so that was last weekend. This weekend, I went and saw Bolt with a few of my friends. I decided that if I'd met them in person already, I had to go see their movie! Anyway, after we saw Bolt, some of us went over to one of my friends' house and we played on her Wii and then we watched Vantage Point. By the way, that was a good movie too. :) I love action movies with car chases. Usually I need to have some kind of hot guy in the movie to make it better, but this one was just really interesting to watch the same event being seen from like 6 or 7 different viewpoints. It was cool. But yeah- we did that on Friday and then on Saturday, after I did some homework and went grocery shopping, we went over to the guys' apartments to play Mario Kart and play Ping Pong in their lounge. Oh my gosh, it was so fun! And then today I went to church and it was good too! It was a good weekend all around. I got a little homework done, so I don't feel too guilty. I just have to get the rest of it done tomorrow. :)

My senior year is under way!

Alright, I probably should be working on homework right now, but I'm just going to take a second to give a quick update on my life. I got home from Florida on the evening of January 2nd and it was so good to be home. We flew into a big snowstorm in SLC and I was so excited to see snow again! The following day was my sister-in-law's baby shower, so I went to that in Provo with my parents (of course, my brother and dad got kicked out and played downstairs with my cousin and uncle- I think they may have had more fun than we did at the shower!) That night, my brother and sister-in-law and I came back home and we opened our Christmas presents with my parents and nephew- my sister had to stay home in Salt Lake with my niece because she was sick. The next day, we hung out at the house and I packed because that following morning (on Monday), my parents helped me move up to Rexburg! Yeah, some break huh? Now I am fully involved in my classes, and let me tell ya, the next two semesters are not going to be easy for me. So yeah, that's basically it. I've been having Mickey and Minnie withdrawals a lot, especially when I was home for that short amount of time, I watched the Disney Christmas parade that I had my parents DVR on Christmas day for me and watching Minnie and Mickey in their Christmas outfits made me miss them so much! Every once in a while here at school, I have to watch some kind of youtube video with Mickey in it because I miss him and Minnie so much! Anyway, back to homework!
